This course introduces the fundamentals of effective communication. It explores key communication skills such as active listening, clear speaking, non-verbal communication, and professional interaction. Learners will gain practical knowledge on how to communicate confidently and effectively in personal, academic, and workplace environments.
This unit introduces learners to the concepts, principles, and practices of community empowerment within the field of social work. It examines how communities can be supported to identify their needs, mobilize local resources, and actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their development. The course explores strategies for promoting participation, capacity building, leadership development, and sustainable community initiatives. Learners will gain knowledge and practical skills necessary to facilitate empowerment processes, strengthen community-based organizations, and promote social justice and inclusive development.

activities, and documenting group activities.
